The single-web application provides a seamless and engaging experience across all devices. Users have a comprehensive, one stop shop to manage bookings, payments, request holiday extras like insurance or parking.

We built the MyExplore site using modern technologies, with a focus on creating a robust, component-based design system. This allowed for faster development and easier updates across multiple applications. Using TypeScript offered a more maintainable solution, helping to reduce development errors, whilst a custom service worker was implemented to provide greater flexibility, enabling offline functionality, an app-like browser experience, faster load times, and support for push notifications.

To power the MyExplore app, we developed multiple APIs that seamlessly integrate with Umbraco, Explore's booking system and payment gateways. Hosted on AWS cloud, these APIs work together to ensure smooth operations and future scalability of the platform.

With the creation of MyExplore, we've been able to provide their customers with a more efficient, seamless, and optimised experience that meets their evolving travel needs, while simultaneously driving increased engagement and growth for their business.
