Senior Pre-sales Consultant.

Crafted is looking for a Senior Pre-sales Consultant to join our Sales and Marketing team. Reporting to the Commercial Director and supporting the Head of Marketing, you'll Lead the growth and expansion of Crafted by acquiring new business within the commercial team. You'll spot opportunities to promote Crafted's service offering and create successful relationships with new, exciting clients.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll get up to. You will:

  • Generate sales activity by way of pre-qualifying leads and providing sales follow-up for all leads (organic, paid, owned and referred)
  • Working with the Commercial Director and Head of Marketing you will make sure Crafted maximise the opportunity to create sales from all marketing activity
  • Contribute ideas and insight in support of the development of a successful agency marketing strategy
  • Maintain commercial relationships throughout the sales process, including post-sale
  • Make sure relevant teams are involved during the sales process
  • Lead effective implementation, development and use of adopted agency CRM (Salesforce)
  • Fully explore all sales opportunities in a timely fashion, relevant to prospective client business, industry competition and core objectives to strengthen conversion opportunities
  • Gather appropriate intelligence and insight to impress prospects with a fast, effective and appropriate response
  • Lead and attend meetings and events with the agency’s prospective clients during working hours but also outside of regular work hours (as dictated by circumstance)
  • Handle leads received by the agency and manage allocation within the commercial team based on opportunity ‘tier’ and resource availability
  • Identify and cultivate suitable partner relationships where it benefits Crafted and where such relationships could become useful sources of lead referral
  • Coordinate sales activity with the Presales Executive and Commercial Director to facilitate the smooth transition of opportunities through our sales funnel
  • Make sure that the Head of Marketing has full visibility of sales activity and outcomes to refine future marketing activities

  • Commercial awareness in relation to effective budgeting for marketing activities
  • The ability to make sure prospects receive optimum service level and quality
  • Excellent people management skills, coaching and mentoring staff to lead a team to work to KPIs
  • The ability to support internal departments as and when required
  • A professional, knowledgeable, and honest manner at all times
  • The contribution of ideas at a tactical and strategic level to aid sales & marketing development
  • Capable of handling multiple activities at once and working calmly under pressure
  • A thorough knowledge of digital marketing channels
  • Sales and negotiation experience with a proven track record of success
  • The ability to accurately scope prospect requirements, liaising with internal teams to create fully estimated proposals
  • Excellent organising and planning skills
  • Advanced presentation skills with a confident and enthusiastic manner
  • Able to create excellent written documents and presentations
  • Comfortable working as part of a team but able to use initiative and take ownership of activity
