In this role you will often be the lead developer in larger project teams, leading by example as the main technical influencer, providing guidance and mentoring to other developers and supporting the wider project team.

We are seeking someone who cares about code, who can demonstrate initiative, ownership and commercial awareness to go together in supporting our project managers in delivering our projects on time and to budget.

As a Senior Full Stack developer at Crafted you will need to be analytical with excellent problem solving skills. Able to prioritise and manage busy workloads effectively. We are seeking an experienced .NET C# developer with excellent front-end development knowledge. Agency experience would be hugely beneficial as we are a fast paced agency. Due to the nature of this position you will be actively involved in projects quickly. You will need to have an in depth knowledge working with public facing, responsive websites with experience using CMS platforms, Kentico or Umbraco but any CMS platform experience will be beneficial, such as Sitecore, SiteFinity, Episerver. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps and Atlassian JIRA will also benefit you in this position.

The work you do at Crafted will mean specialising in building and supporting public facing CMS-driven websites. As part of the team, you will make sure the design and user interface have been implemented to our high standards and the end product is robust, scalable, secure, SEO friendly, and standards compliant.

There will be the opportunity to work on a variety of other projects including ecommerce websites, membership-based websites, integrations, cross platform mobile applications, web applications, and bespoke internal and external systems.

We support you through on-the-job training and professional development, which is discussed with your line manager at regular check-in meetings. We work with you to identify areas where external training would be beneficial and are open to suggestions to investigate new technologies that will help our clients.

Crafted’s office is in Ipswich, a short walk from the station and easily commutable from the surrounding area and beyond, including Cambridge and London. We have recently relocated to a large modern office that has been completely refitted to our specification. It has the perfect working, meeting, and recreation space, we are very proud of it! We also offer part or full remote working.
