Search Executive.

Do you love a bit of keyword research? Can you identify and use search trends to improve a clients' account? Yes? Then we'd love you to join Crafted as a Search Executive. Supporting the wider Organic Search team and reporting to the Head of SEO, you'll help optimise clients' accounts and, over time, manage some of your own. You'll need to be a team player with a passion for creative problem solving.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Search Executive at Crafted:

  • You’ll be responsible for day to day delivery and management of small search marketing accounts and projects
  • You’ll be coming up with future enhancements for both client projects and wider team processes with the support of the Head of SEO
  • You’ll support the Client Services team with reporting to clients with the month’s stats and opportunities
  • You’ll use your analytical skills to discover trends and insights in the large amounts of data at our disposal
  • You’ll prepare major client communications (such as meeting preparation) with the support and guidance of senior member of the team
  • You’ll support the search department’s workflow and contribute to the strategic direction of client accounts
  • You’ll be working as part of a team or on your own, taking responsibility for projects and tasks throughout their lifecycle and taking onboard input from senior members of the team

What we need from you

Sound like you? Here’s the skills we need you to have:

  • Proof you can deliver successful creative and effective organic search campaigns in a wide range of markets
  • A knowledge and understanding of key elements involved in organic search and what aspects make up a successful marketing campaign including:
    • Keyword research
    • Competitor analysis
    • Technical onsite SEO
    • Reporting
    • Link acquisition
  • A proficiency in Excel to the level of functions, formulas, tables, Vlookups and macros
  • Creative thinking when faced with a problem – can you spot a clever solution?
  • An understanding of online marketing and the interplay between various disciplines
  • Effective verbal and written communication – we’ll need you to demonstrate this

  • Outreach & PR
  • Content generation
  • Google Analytics

Practical experience with a wide range of key SEO tools such as Screaming Frog / SEMRush / Google Tag Manager / aHrefs / Google Optimise
