Account Director.

Are you a people person? This role works closely with our globally recognised clients and involves supporting the Client Services Director and the wider Crafted team. You'll be the key part in ensuring we deliver across all of our client's objectives. You'll be supporting and developing digital strategy, liaising across all of our internal teams to deliver the right mix of skills (and results) for clients.

Job roles and responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact for all allocated clients, handling and co-ordinating any necessary resources to execute projects or retainers
  • Helping to shape and manage budgets, timescales and campaign strategy for clients
  • Provide day-to-day management of assigned customer accounts to ensuring expectations are managed
  • Deputise for Client Services Director in their absence
  • Quote for new billing and monitor and maintain for allocated Clients to assist with forcasting
  • Ensure excellent service is given within budget and the client’s expectations are managed across the agency
  • Responsible for client retention, highlighting to relevant senior managers where issues might arise
  • Keep up-to-date with client business requirements and activities within the agency in order that you are well informed and placed to deal with the all of their enquiries
  • Lead meetings and events with the agency’s clients, during working hours but also at evening events such as awards ceremonies.
  • Ensuring projects and services are delivered to clients on time and within budget
  • Ensure accurate customer billing and quoting for new projects
  • Proactively highlight areas where additional relationships with clients can be developed
  • Coach and mentor Account Executives supporting their personal development

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Proven experience of Account Management experience with the ability to manage a number of complex client accounts simultaneously
  • Demonstrate extensive all-round knowledge of digital marketing (search marketing, online advertising, social media marketing, website development and design)
  • Excellent commercial awareness across a range of industries
  • Strategic thinking in order to ensure all accounts are delivering against clients KPI’s
  • A high level of numeracy and literacy with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent client facing and presentation skills
  • Methodical with high attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong problem-solving orientation
  • Confident individual that remains calm under pressure
  • Solution orientated and tenacious in the face of a challenge
  • Ability to generate, define and scope ideas
